Medulance healthcare adds up a more significant number of ambulances to support emergency medical services. With this, the startup aims to ensure easy patient transfer between hospitals and support advanced life systems.

Delhi-based emergency response provider Medulance Healthcare has added up to 400 ambulances for advanced life support (ALS) and basic life support (BLS) in Delhi NCR. The startup is adding this number of ambulances to offer better turnover time (TAT), which directly impacts mortality rates.'¯

Ravjot Singh Arora, cofounder Medulance, said, 'œWe are proud to contribute to the healthcare ecosystem by adding 400 ambulances. With reduced response times and advanced medical capabilities, we aim to make a significant impact on patient outcomes.'

Out of the newly added 400 ambulances, more than 50 are ALS, 125 are certified, and 90 are BLS. The ALS ambulance services support the advanced life systems that help ensure patient transfer between hospitals. The BLS ambulance services improve the capability to cover a wide range of medical emergencies.

'œMedulance remains committed to our mission of providing accessible and reliable emergency medical services to communities across India', added Ravjot.

Medulance Healthcare, in partnership with the Government of Delhi, offers medical access to ambulatory services to patients. The helpline number for patients who need emergency medical assistance is 102.

Founded in 2017, Medulance Healthcare claims to offer medical emergency services to more than 20 Lakh patients in Delhi & NCR regions. The organisation has ambulatory services and medical rooms, and specific helpline numbers for corporates such as HCL, DLF, and JLL.

Medulance also launched a 5G smart-connected ambulance after joining hands with Reliance Jio. The primary objective of this collaboration is real-time tracking, two-way audio and video connection, and real-time streaming of patient health data to a distant doctor. It helps to make emergency health response services better.

Medulance serves to the increasing need for ambulance services across Indian cities and towns with its 7,500-vehicle fleet. The startup's emergency ambulance services reach the patient's doorstep within 15-18 minutes of an emergency call.

Medulance has been enjoying increasing popularity post its appearance in Shark Tank India'”where it raised Rs 2 Cr seed funding.

The funding was led by Sharks Namita Thapar, Aman Gupta, and Peyush Bansal, at a valuation of INR 100 Cr.
