Karkinos Healthcare has been recognized by the National Health Authority (NHA) for its contributions to the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM)'s ABHA database. Karkinos Healthcare successfully linked 30,094 health records to the database, which is a key component of the ABDM initiative. The mission aims to establish an integrated digital health infrastructure in India, promoting collaboration and interoperability among public and private stakeholders.
The ABHA address, a 14-digit identifier, plays a crucial role in ensuring secure patient identities that can be trusted by healthcare providers and payers nationwide. Leveraging its Distributed Cancer Care Network (DCCN), Karkinos Healthcare has actively supported ABDM in achieving its digital health objectives. Dr. Basant Garg, Mission Director of Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission and Additional Chief Executive Officer of the National Health Authority, expressed appreciation for Team Karkinos' efforts in building the country's digital health ecosystem.
