Mangalore-based AJ Hospital and Research Centre has taken a significant step towards improving patient safety standards by adopting Dozee's advanced AI-based Contactless Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) and Early Warning System (EWS).

The hospital integrated Dozee's next-generation ambulatory-connected patient monitoring systems into non-ICU ward beds in an effort to leverage indigenous technology. This implementation allowed for continuous contactless monitoring of vital signs, emphasising the hospital's dedication to elevating overall patient care standards.

Commenting on the development, Dr Prashanth Marla, medical director at AJ Hospital & Research Centre, said, "Our strategic partnership with Dozee is a bold step towards establishing unparalleled benchmarks in patient safety. Mangalore can now expect a new era where technology harmonises with compassionate care."

Dozee's cloud-enabled solution facilitates central and remote patient monitoring, empowering healthcare providers to deliver timely medical interventions for improved patient safety and clinical outcomes. The technology, patented and made in India, automates vital data and operational processes, a crucial element in AJ Hospital and Research Centre's pursuit of providing quality healthcare.

In response, Mudit Dandwate, CEO and cofounder of Dozee, said, "Our 'Made-in-India' technology is not just a solution; it's a commitment to excellence, a force majeure in reshaping patient monitoring."

The RPM and EWS by Dozee enable healthcare workers to remotely monitor essential parameters including heart rate, respiration rate, blood pressure, SPO2 levels, temperature, and ECG.

The Early Warning System tracks vital parameter trends, providing healthcare providers with alerts for early detection of clinical deterioration, facilitating timely medical intervention.

Established in 2015, Dozee, founded by Mudit Dandwate and Gaurav Parchani, focuses on contactless health monitoring technology.

In the past, Dozee introduced 'Dozee Pro Ex,' an ambulatory connected patient monitoring system designed with a 'Made in India, for the World' approach. The system utilises wireless wearable sensors to offer continuous monitoring of vital patient parameters.
