Director of IIIT-Delhi, professor Ranjan Bose, shared his confidence in the potential for disruption in India's medical industry, especially with progressions in artificial intelligence (AI) empowered analytics, genomics, and computational biology. The joint research activities, academic exchanges, and the creation of innovative solutions that expand healthcare services while lowering costs will be the primary focuses of the collaboration. IIIT-Delhi will contribute skill in information or data science, AI, and machine learning to have an enduring effect in the healthcare space.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by Dr. Ashok Solanki, Registrar IIIT-Delhi and Mr. Rakesh Kaushik, Director Legal & Regulatory Affairs of Max Healthcare that made the partnership official.
Max Healthcare Institute is a hospital chain in India that offers tertiary and quaternary care through a network of 17 healthcare facilities in North India. Undergraduate and doctoral degrees are offered by IIIT-Delhi, a research-driven teaching institution. The institute has six departments and several research centers that encourage interdisciplinary collaboration and partnerships with the industry.
The College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME) is an executive organization dedicated to serving senior digital health leaders.
