In order to make investments in healthcare education and research in India, Max Healthcare Institute and Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, Delhi (IIIT-Delhi) have joined forces. The coordinated effort plans to harness the qualities of the two associations to direct research, foster healthcare solutions, and provide capacity-building programs for healthcare professionals.

Max Healthcare Institute's Group Medical Director, Dr. Sandeep Budhiraja, emphasized the opportunity to utilize technological advancements for novel solutions that improve patient outcomes and care quality. He emphasized the need to address issues of public health in India and elsewhere as well.

Director of IIIT-Delhi, professor Ranjan Bose, shared his confidence in the potential for disruption in India's medical industry, especially with progressions in artificial intelligence (AI) empowered analytics, genomics, and computational biology. The joint research activities, academic exchanges, and the creation of innovative solutions that expand healthcare services while lowering costs will be the primary focuses of the collaboration. IIIT-Delhi will contribute skill in information or data science, AI, and machine learning to have an enduring effect in the healthcare space.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by Dr. Ashok Solanki, Registrar IIIT-Delhi and Mr. Rakesh Kaushik, Director Legal & Regulatory Affairs of Max Healthcare that made the partnership official.

Max Healthcare Institute is a hospital chain in India that offers tertiary and quaternary care through a network of 17 healthcare facilities in North India.
