The AYUSH Health and Education Learning Management System centralises educational content and resources, serving students, practitioners, researchers, and healthcare providers interested in traditional medicine. It aims to enhance access and knowledge dissemination, especially in rural and remote areas.
The initiative, led by the Ministry of AYUSH, aims to create a digital platform that consolidates educational resources, training modules, research materials, and clinical information related to AYUSH disciplines.
The AYUSH Health and Education Learning Management System will cater to the needs of students, practitioners, researchers, and healthcare providers interested in traditional medicinal practices. By centralising educational content and resources, the system seeks to enhance access and knowledge dissemination to a wider audience, including rural and remote regions.
Key features of the system include interactive e-learning courses, virtual classrooms, webinars, and access to a repository of scholarly articles and research publications. It will also facilitate collaboration among AYUSH institutions, experts, and practitioners, encouraging the exchange of ideas and best practices.
The platform's user-friendly interface ensures ease of navigation and personalised learning experiences for users at various levels of expertise. Additionally, the system is accessible through web and mobile applications, allowing users to learn on-the-go.
The launch of the AYUSH Health and Education Learning Management System aligns with the government's commitment to preserving and promoting India's rich heritage of traditional medicine. It aims to strengthen the AYUSH sector's education infrastructure, foster research and innovation, and ultimately improve healthcare services for the public.
Sharing thoughts on this, Health Minister, Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, said that the AYUSH system plays a vital role in providing holistic and natural healthcare options to the people. The Learning Management System will equip practitioners and enthusiasts with the knowledge and skills required to ensure the growth and global recognition of AYUSH practices.
As part of its ongoing efforts to modernise the healthcare sector, the government invites AYUSH practitioners, scholars, and institutions to participate actively in the system and contribute to the advancement of traditional medicine in India.
