Clinitouch's remote patient monitoring tech, now part of Jeevasare Healthcare's services, enhances early identification of at-risk patients, reducing illness and hospitalisation rates.

Clinitouch, a UK-based health technology company, has joined forces with Bengaluru-based Jeevasare Healthcare as part of its expansion into India, focusing on providing remote patient monitoring services in Bengaluru.

The partnership aims to utilise Clinitouch's proven remote patient monitoring technology, developed by UK's Spirit Health, to offer more accessible healthcare services to the Bengaluru community.

Commenting on the collaboration, Raj Kumar, CEO and founder of Jeevasare Healthcare said, "Partnering with Clinitouch marks a pivotal moment for Jeevasare Healthcare, enabling us to bring cutting-edge remote patient monitoring to Bengaluru. This collaboration strengthens our commitment to delivering accessible and fantastic services to our patients while providing end-to-end healthcare services to our community."

Remote patient monitoring technology has demonstrated success in the UK's National Health Service (NHS), enabling medical professionals to track individuals' health remotely, ensuring enhanced care regardless of geographical location.

Through this collaboration, Jeevasare Healthcare seeks to enhance access to healthcare services and improve the overall health of the Bengaluru community.

Patients in Bengaluru will now have the capability to report their symptoms through health questionnaires in the Clinitouch app. The clinical team at Jeevasare Healthcare will receive, review, and provide treatment based on the reported symptoms.

The addition of Clinitouch's remote patient monitoring technology aligns with Jeevasare Healthcare's community campaigns and screening services. The combined efforts aim to identify at-risk patients early on, prevent illness, and reduce hospitalisation rates.

With Clinitouch, Jeevasare Healthcare can offer continuous monitoring and management of long-term conditions, providing a comprehensive end-to-end healthcare service.

Chandru Iyer, deputy trade commissioner, South Asia (Investment) and British deputy high commissioner for Karnataka & Kerala, said, "The integration of Clinitouch into Jeevasare Healthcare's services marks a significant stride in advancing digital health initiatives, not only in Bengaluru, but across India and beyond. This collaboration is a great example of the UK-India healthcare partnership and highlights the UK's commitment to pioneering accessible and innovative patient care solutions."

Clinitouch's remote patient monitoring technology has a successful track record in the UK's NHS since 2011, connecting patients with their clinical teams from the comfort of their homes.

The technology supports over 25 remote monitoring pathways across diseases such as diabetes, heart failure, and COPD. The global partnership program, backed by the UK's Department for Business and Trade, aims to expand Clinitouch's technology into new territories worldwide.

The collaboration with Jeevasare Healthcare in Bengaluru follows previous launches of Clinitouch's technology in Africa, Asia, and Europe, with digital health projects designed across five continents.
