With clinical devices that are connected to the Max MyHealth app, patients can keep an eye on their vitals. The application screens these readings and advances them to the electronic clinical records (EMR) for the specialist's review. It is capable of monitoring heart rate, ECG, Spo2 levels, blood sugar, and blood pressure.
Artificial intelligence tools monitor all of these vitals, assisting in the interpretation of the electrocardiogram (ECG) and notifying physicians at the closest healthcare facility of any deviations from acceptable limits. The app's release during the second COVID-19 wave alleviated hospital congestion and reduced the virus's spread by eliminating hospital trips.
'œAt Max Healthcare, our constant endeavour has been to use the advancements in digital technology to provide best in class medical support to our patients. Our focus is to expand the geography of care for the Max Healthcare group.' - Prashant Singh, Director IT and Group CIO, Max Healthcare.
Additionally, he mentioned that the launch of the remote patient monitoring platform is an effort to support and improve home-based healthcare services for patients. Post-hospitalization services will be made available to more people in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities thanks to this service.
In the press meet, Max Healthcare declared that patients would gain admittance to different complex care programs including daily/regular examination like heart care, diabetes, and hypertension management and monthly/every other week virtual consultations with Max Hospital specialists.
