Kerala-based startup, Versicles Technologies has launched a first-of-its-kind digital health kiosk that claims to provide basic cost-effective diagnostics including blood pressure, blood sugar and heart conditions instantly with utmost accuracy in multiple languages.

The newly unveiled kiosk, Prognosis has machines that measure a user's blood pressure, blood sugar, heart conditions (ECG monitor), temperature (wireless Bluetooth thermometer) and weight.

Further, it is equipped with a touch screen that offers video instructions to users to receive accurate readings. Additionally, the kiosk features multilingual instructions through an AI-based voice bot to make healthcare facilities more easily accessible.

The startup claims that the kiosk provides results in under a minute, along with offering immediate recommendations if irregularities are detected in an individual's vitals.

With this initiative the startup aims to revolutionise the way individuals access basic health checks, bridging the gap between early detection and professional healthcare.

Expressing his views, Kiran Karunakaran, CEO, Versicles Technologies said, "The digital devices feed data into our cloud-based medical inference AI engine. The kiosk can easily and accurately identify hidden conditions like heart arrhythmia (irregular heartbeat) and diabetes, and connect to expert medical care at the right time."

This newly designed digital kiosk can be installed in hospitals, offices, malls and gyms to provide additional remote care options. Each kiosk is manned by a certified nurse who can walk the patient through a self-assessment or periodic check-ups.

Moreover, this Kiosk also serves as an information hub, offering users insights into various medical services, catering to the company's broader mission of promoting health awareness.

Founded in 2022 by Aneesh Suhail, Kiran Karunakaran, and Manoj Dethan. Versicles Technologies operates as a Retail-as-a-service startup. It has also created the VendNGo platform which is an omnichannel platform that blends physical and digital E-Commerce for retailers. The VendNGo smart kiosk acts as a digital food court that allows customers to order from multiple restaurants in a single order with delivery at their convenience.

Going forward, Versicles Technologies plans to bridge the gap between early detection and professional healthcare. They aim to make advanced health diagnostics accessible and cost-effective thereby improving patient outcomes.

In a similar development, Gurugram-based health tech startup Shyft launched ‘Dash Health’ to address Women's Wellbeing Issues. This initiative aims to provide impactful solutions for managing Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), menstrual and hormonal health, natal care, and menopause. The services include nutrition, fitness & yoga, therapy, and more, intending to complement existing clinical and medical services, thereby driving positive health outcomes.
