This collaboration focuses on improving preventive healthcare by offering personalised diagnostics and real-time insights based on gut microbiome and essential diagnostic markers.

Xume, India's first AI-powered grocery scoring and recommendation platform, has partnered with Microbiome.in and TruDiagno, an NABL-certified diagnostics startup.

This collaboration focuses on improving preventive healthcare by offering personalised diagnostics and real-time insights based on gut microbiome and essential diagnostic markers.

The partnership taps into Xume's extensive database, which includes over 60,000 products, 10,000 ingredients, 2,000 recipes, and 3,500 brands within the Indian grocery ecosystem.

Sharing thoughts on the collaborative market dynamics, Akshaye Jalan, founder & CEO of Xume, said, "The future of health and wellness is about understanding our unique microbiome and diagnostic markers to make smarter choices, not sacrificing our favorite foods. Our partnership with Microbiome.in and TruDiagno aims to achieve just that."

Microbiome.in, with its specialisation in gut microbiome research and the use of in-house Illumina and Nanopore Sequencers, harmonises well with TruDiagno's advanced molecular diagnostic capabilities.

Ravi Shroff, the founder & CEO of Microbiome.in (MRPL) and a co-promoter of Excel Industries Limited, said, "We are excited to be a part of this groundbreaking partnership. By operating at the intersection of gut health, molecular diagnostics, and personalized nutrition, our goal is to empower users with significant insights that can be a pivotal moment in preventive healthcare."

Similarly, Sandip Khairnar, director of TruDiagno, shares a common vision with Xume, Microbiome.in, where technology, data, and expert guidance empower individuals to proactively manage their health, nutrition, and wellness. Their united commitment to precise diagnostics is geared towards reducing the prevalence of lifestyle-related diseases.

Founded in 2015, Xume, a Mumbai-based startup, has introduced India's first AI-powered platform for personalised grocery scoring and recommendations. Available through Android and iOS apps, B2B APIs, and the website xume.co, Xume aims to simplify how Indian consumers choose packaged foods.

With a database covering over 60,000 products, 10,000 ingredients, and more than 3,500 brands, Xume assesses over 60 health parameters to generate personalised health and nutrition scores, simplifying the complex process of selecting packaged foods in India.
