Globally, the partnership intends to develop and manufacture diagnostics for human and veterinary applications.

TechInvention Lifecare Pvt. Ltd., a biotech start-up based in Mumbai, has formed a strategic collaboration with Reagent IVD Resources Pvt. Ltd. (RIVDR), a diagnostics-focused start-up located in Jaipur. The partnership aims to develop and manufacture a comprehensive range of diagnostics for both human and veterinary applications, with the intention of supplying them globally.

TechInvention Lifecare has built a diverse portfolio that includes extraction kits, rapid point-of-care tests, and molecular diagnostics for infectious diseases. On the other hand, RIVDR specializes in biochemistry and chemi-luminescence kits manufacturing and distribution. Additionally, they have several promising novel products in the pipeline, focusing on zoonotic diseases and antimicrobial resistance against pathogens listed as critical and high priority by the World Health Organization (WHO).

Syed Ahmed, the CEO of TechInvention Lifecare, stated that this collaboration perfectly aligns with the mission of "Make in India, make for the World." India's medical device market is growing rapidly among emerging economies, with the current market size estimated at USD 11 billion.

The country's medical devices sector has gained even more prominence due to its contribution to the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. Medical devices exports have grown at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 9.37 percent over the past five years and are projected to reach approximately USD 10 billion by 2025.

Madhur Mohan Goyal, MD of RIVDR, expressed confidence in the collaboration, highlighting the robust complementary portfolio of both companies. The synergy between the two is expected to enable the development of high-quality, novel, and affordable diagnostics not only in India but also in other global markets.

TechInvention Lifecare is recognized as a certified "DeepTech Pioneer" startup, dedicated to the concept of one-health and offering innovative biosolutions from various angles. The company is determined to facilitate access to affordable and effective novel vaccines, biotherapeutics, and diagnostics targeting infectious diseases in developing countries. TechInvention also aims to support capacity-building projects in manufacturing and provide technology that is compliant with regulations while remaining cost-effective.

RIVDR manufactures in-vitro diagnostics (IVD) and life science reagents. As contract manufacturers, they provide innovative manufacturing solutions to adapt to disruptive changes in the diagnostic sector. RIVDR is committed to delivering the most suitable solutions to its customers through their products and services, ensuring the highest standards of quality.

Consequently, TechInvention Lifecare and RIVDR's collaboration marks a significant step toward developing and manufacturing diagnostics for global distribution. By combining their expertise and portfolios, the companies aim to provide high-quality, affordable, and innovative solutions to address infectious diseases, including zoonotic diseases and antimicrobial resistance, not only in India but also in other parts of the world.
