The Spoke Hospital has been designed to provide comprehensive paediatric and obstetric care services, including 24x7 consultant-led emergency care.

Rainbow Children’s Medicare Limited (RCML), also known as Rainbow Children’s Hospital, has unveiled its 100-bed spoke hospital at Sarjapur Road, Bengaluru.

This strategic addition marks the fourth paediatric multi-speciality hospital with integrated perinatal care in the bustling city, showcasing Rainbow’s aim to provide top-notch healthcare services to the community.

Commenting on the development, Dr Ramesh Kancharla, MD, RCML, said, “With the addition of our fourth hospital in Bengaluru at Sarjapur Road, Rainbow Children’s Hospital has strengthened its presence.”

He further highlighted the facility's child-centric design, emphasising its appeal to children with soothing interiors, contributing to a welcoming environment.

The Spoke Hospital Features

The Sarjapur Road Hospital has been designed to provide comprehensive paediatric and obstetric care services, including 24x7 consultant-led emergency care in paediatrics and obstetrics, outpatient services, and Level-III neonatal and paediatric intensive care services.

Emphasising the institution's commitment to holistic care, Nithyananda P, VP, Rainbow Children’s Hospital, said, "Rainbow Children’s Hospital isn’t just a place for treatment—it’s an institution that espouses empathy and advanced expertise."

The new spoke hospital contributes to a cumulative bed strength of 452 beds, reinforcing Rainbow’s commitment to catering to the healthcare needs of the city. Moreover, this accomplishment is a part of the larger vision outlined in the company's business plan and IPO guidance, aiming for a total of 1,000 beds.

In a recent development, Rainbow Children's Hospital inked an agreement with the Ministry of Health, Zanzibar. This collaboration positioned Rainbow Children's Hospital as an exclusive paediatric facility, marking a unique partnership with the Ministry of Health in Zanzibar.

Under the one-year contract, Rainbow Children's Hospital is expected to conduct outpatient (OPD) services and surgical camps within Zanzibar, addressing critical healthcare needs and providing specialised care, particularly in paediatric cases requiring expert attention.
