CarePass™ departs from traditional employee health benefits, providing a flexible solution tailored to evolving corporate and workforce needs.

Jaipur-based Truworth Wellness, a corporate wellness company, has unveiled CarePass™, a health membership product tailored to address the primary and preventive care needs of employees in the Indian corporate sector.

CarePass™ offers a modular and flexible solution tailored to meet the evolving needs of both corporations and their workforce.

The comprehensive suite of services provided by CarePass™ encompasses primary and preventive care, including doctor consultations, annual health checks, prescription diagnostics, pharmacy services, dental care, and vision care, among others.

Utilizing the acclaimed Web & Mobile Platform "The Wellness Corner," CarePass™ offers employees to proactively manage their health and well-being easily and efficiently.

Sharing thoughts, Rajesh Mundra, founder & executive chairman, Truworth Wellness, said, "CarePass™ represents a major step forward in our mission to provide accessible and effective preventive and primary care solutions. With ambitious growth goals, aiming for a 50% YoY growth and INR 1500 Cr in gross revenues within five years, we are committed to innovation and confident that CarePass™ will be a game-changer for the Indian corporate wellness industry."

Further, he highlighted the transformative potential of CarePass™ in delivering measurable results and enhancing employee satisfaction.

Rollout Plan of CarePass™

In an exclusive conversation with DHN, Rohit Chohan, cofounder, & CEO of Truworth Wellness, shed light on the functionalities and rollout plan of CarePass™.

Chohan explained, "CarePass™ is an integrated product solution, bundling preventive and primary care benefits into one plan. It comprises preventive health checks, doctor consultations (both tele and in-clinic), prescription diagnostics, prescription pharmacy, dental care, and vision benefits. The product is designed to maximize preventive care benefits and minimize healthcare episodes, ultimately leading to fewer healthcare claims."

Regarding the rollout plan for CarePass™, Chohan shared insights into the pilot phase and the scaling strategy.

He said, "We have completed a successful pilot with CarePass™ plans for 200,000 users in the last 18 months, which gave us the confidence to scale such productized corporate wellness solution with more corporates."

Chohan outlined the organization's plan to expand CarePass™ to two million users within the next two years, demonstrating Truworth Wellness's aim to make impactful healthcare solutions accessible to a broader audience.

Cost Structure & Anticipated Benefits

When asked about the cost structure, Chohan elaborated, "CarePass™ plans will be currently available for corporate purchases only. Corporates can opt for plans ranging from INR 1500 onwards for their employees."

Highlighting the anticipated benefits for employers and their workforce, Chohan said, by productizing corporate wellness benefits, the company aims to address two major pain points. Firstly, CarePass™ focuses on maximizing preventive care benefits, thereby minimizing healthcare episodes and improving the overall productivity of organizations. Secondly, it tackles the inefficiency caused by disjointed programs, offering a unified platform for comprehensive care management.

Impact & Industry Insights

According to Aon India primary care benefits report 2023, spending on employee well-being has surged for 8 out of 10 companies in 2023 compared to 2019. However, the challenge lies in utilizing these programs due to their lack of customization. CarePass™ claims to address this challenge by offering a unified health plan, consolidating services, and simplifying the experience for both employees and HR.

Established in 2011, Truworth Wellness is a provider of corporate employee health benefits and wellness solutions. With a focus on preventive wellness culture, the company offers end-to-end programs across various industries.

Through their technology-enabled solutions and flagship programs like Truwellness360, they engage participants and drive lifestyle changes. Their Wellness Corner platform facilitates health data management and reduces insurance claims.
