Dr. Shelby Kutty, Director of the Helen B. Taussig Heart Center at Johns Hopkins University, recently paid a visit to the Dr. KM Cherian Heart Foundation and Frontier Lifeline Hospital, Chennai, India. In his talk about the role of AI in cardiology, Dr. Shelby Kutty highlighted about how diverse cardiovascular data can be used to predict outcomes. Eminent cardiology faculty, including structural heart specialist Dr. Anantharaman from Kauvery, as well as Drs. Ragahavan Subramaniam and Karthik Suryan, attended the talk, which was led by Dr. KM Cherian.
The use of AI and data analytics to gain a deeper understanding of heart conditions was a further topic of discussion. Dr. Shelby Kutty emphasized the need for more smart hospitals that incorporate technology into healthcare as well as the importance of awareness and education regarding AI in cardiology.
A prominent pediatric cardiologist and Dr. Shelby Kutty discussed the significance of AI in echocardiographic imaging and assessments. They talked about how AI could help make accurate diagnoses and treatment plans for both children's and adults' heart conditions.
The medical community had an excellent opportunity to discuss the most recent advancements in cardiology and the potential of AI in healthcare during Dr. Shelby Kutty's visit to Frontier Lifeline Hospital and the Dr. KM Cherian Heart Foundation.
