CureBay Opens 50th eClinic in Odisha to Make Healthcare Reach The Underserved

The newly launched eClinic in Rupsa, Balasore, has a team of over 100 impaneled doctors, including specialists in fields such as Pediatrics, Orthopedics, Surgery, ENT, Gynecology, and Dentistry.

CureBay, a health tech startup, has opened its 50th eClinic in Odisha. With over 100 doctors on board, the newly launched eClinic in Rupsa, Balasore, offers treatments in pediatrics, orthopedics, surgery, ENT, gynecology and dentistry.

As an added advantage, patients will find ordering medications through registered pharmacies convenient and receiving them seamlessly via CureBay's digital platform.

Additionally, the clinic will offer phlebotomy services and facilitate patient referrals to partnered hospitals and diagnostic centers for inpatient care and radiology services. In emergencies, ambulance services will be available upon request.

It includes unlimited doctor consultations for one year, a 15% discount on all medicines, Rs. 30,000/- worth of HospiCash, Rs. 50,000/- for critical illness, and more. The Health Card comes in three variants'“ Single Card, Twin Card, and Family Card '“ to cater to diverse patient needs.

Founded in 2021 by Priyadarshi Mohapatra, Shobhan Mahapatra, and Sanjay Swain, Bhubaneswar-based healthtech startup CureBay addresses the pressing need for healthcare services in underserved areas. 

The startup employs a tech-driven approach and a network of e-clinics to bring quality healthcare to small towns and villages. 

Their hybrid model encompasses teleconsultations, medicine delivery, appointment scheduling, diagnostic services, and seamless access to tertiary care at partner hospitals; all facilitated through a transparent booking system and concierge services.

Previously, CureBay established a network of 49 eClinics across 18 districts in Odisha, providing healthcare services to over 36,000 patients in approximately 8,500 villages. 

These eClinics, often called microsatellite centers, are backed by innovative technology and a strong commitment to prioritising patients.
