The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Delhi has decided to switch to an online system for the allocation of official accommodation in an effort to increase transparency. A number of complaints about the current offline allotment process led to the decision.

As per an office notice by AIIMS Director M Srinivas, to elevate great administration and to guarantee outright transparency in the allotment of official accommodation, it has been concluded that all solicitations for house allotment will be received and handled online only and lodging position records will be transparently shown and updated online in real-time basis for a wide range of official accommodation accessible with AIIMS New Delhi.

Dr. Srinivas stated that the offline allotment system has frequently resulted in opaqueness, making it challenging to guarantee fairness and accountability in the allocation of accommodations to faculty members, officials, and staff.

This digital approach won't just smooth out the process, however, will likewise eliminate expected predispositions and disparities that might emerge during offline allotment.

According to Dr. Rima Dada, who is in charge of the AIIMS Delhi media cell, the housing seniority lists for all kinds of official accommodations will also be displayed and regularly updated online. The chairman of the housing allotment advisory committee is in charge of putting this idea into action. Dr. Dada stated that the dashboards for the allotment system and housing seniority list must be operational by June 30 and the professor in charge of the computer facility will be tasked with this procedure.
