Healthcare technology company earKart has recently secured an undisclosed amount of pre-Series A funding, led by Agility Ventures. Other investors, including Blume Ventures, also participated in the funding round. The total funding raised by earKart now amounts to Rs 7.6 crore. The startup's initial lead angel investor is Ashneer Grover.
earKart, founded in 2021 by Rohit Misra and Priyadarshi Jha, focuses on addressing the needs of the large patient population in India suffering from hearing loss. With an estimated 98.5 million people in India experiencing hearing loss, of which more than 60 percent lack access to audiological services, earKart aims to bridge the gap and provide essential assistance to these individuals.
The Noida-based startup operates an online platform that offers a range of hearing aids at affordable prices. Their smart diagnosis and remote management capabilities ensure that patients can receive the latest technology and services from the comfort of their own homes.
The recent funding will enable earKart to further develop its technology infrastructure and expand its team, allowing them to better serve their growing customer base. The support from Agility Ventures and other investors will facilitate the company's expansion and help bring their services to a larger number of patients.
earKart positions itself as a unique online platform, providing hearing aid dispensers and patients with access to a wide variety of products from global manufacturers. The company prides itself on ensuring transparency, fair pricing, and quality, making it a reliable and convenient option for those seeking hearing aids.
With this latest funding, earKart is well-positioned to continue its mission of improving access to audiological services and delivering innovative solutions to individuals with hearing loss in India.
